Would you buy the "same car" with "Same Color" as your immediate neighbour?

After many weeks of contemplation, I have zeroed upon Ritz ZXI as my first car.

Now the next thing is color.
I immediately liked it in BrickRed color the most.
But to my utter shock, my immediate next-door neighbour got Ritz VXI in same BrickRed color delivered next day.

My biggest concern is that we have common Area for Parking, so his car will be parked just next to mine under a tree in front of our houses.

So, Now I am having to think upon other colors in Ritz also.
After Red, the next best color that comes to mind is "Blue Blaze" and after that maybe "Bakers Chocolate".

I know color choice is a subjective and personal thing. Still, which color would you suggest me in this situation considering our cars will be parked together.
Should I still stick with BrickRed ?
Or should I consider next best BlueBlaze or Bakers Chocolate ?

Help.

I searched for any possible help on this forum without much success before posting this thread.
So hope the mods would approve this thread.

Cool.aquarian,

Why should you base your choice on something as insignificant as what color your neighbor has? Would you not park your car on the street next to another red ritz? Would you not pick up a phonecall if the guy across the table from you had the same phone?

It really doesn't matter IMO.

I can draw a hundred parellels to emphasize my point, but i'm going to say it as simply as i can : BUY THE BRICK RED RITZ and be happy!

Goodluck,
R

and if you are too worried, there are multiple options to customize your car, so that it should be recognizable

^^ Good idea!

Some nice alloys and tints will set it apart.

"Neighbor's envy" perhaps?

LOL. dare I say it: "typical delhiwala mentality".

Don't worry about it being the same colour. Infact, it would be more of an incentive for you to keep your cleaner and scrath/dent free as compared to the neighbour's.

May I suggest Team-bhp stickers all around as a differentiator?

On a serious note, I would suggest you go with the color of your choice rather than get influenced by neighbors choice.

Hehe... Thanks for ur inputs.

To be very honest, my neighbour is a nice and simple guy.
His Ritz (VXI) is straight from stock (even without any tints).
He has lost 2(or 1) of his wheelcaps, but does not even bother getting new ones.
So, its nothing like I want to compete or something.
Infact it is the opposite. I do not want me (or others) to draw any comparisons between mine and his car.

I live in an apartment with about 70+ flats.

When I bought my car, I was in a complex with about 350+ flats.

I really don't think one should care about what the neighbor's car is like.

Just for thoughts there are 4 Xylo's in my town all in T. Red. These people are known to me and they had inquired with me on the Xylo as mine was the first in the district. They have all picked the same color.
Why bother with things like this? Do what you feel like.

I have a white indica. You'd think with so many indicabs, I would buy something else.
Funnily, I've come across a lot of private white indicas!

dude, your neighbor could move out tomorrow or you could move out next week. Then you will be stuck with a color that was your second choice. Don't worry about what your neighbor has and get the color that you like the most.

Depends on who my neighbour is!

On a serious note, stick to what you liked. Neighbours will come and go, but your car stays with you.

Would I buy the same color as my neighbour? I'd avoid it if I can. But if that means longer waiting periods, missing out on certain options etc. I won't. It's entirely up to you.

About the color, I'd go for Silky Silver or Midnight Black.

I got it!!

I do not understand the issue here, I would be happy if I get a chance to park my Sparky next to another red Sparky at a parking lot anywhere!!
