Hey whats the problem in revving it up a little in the initial 1000 kms? Why are you suggesting against it?

because that is usually the run in period of your engine and in simple words, in this period it is very sensitive and a slight over rev can do serious damage to it.so its always better to keep the revs low for the initial 1000kms so it runs in properly and after that theres no problem even if you redline as long as you dont over rev it or do a mechanical over rev by mistake

1)well mrhap simply putting it the k&n filter is a high performance air filter which will let ur car breathe more freely which will lead to better performance. also its cost is somewhat justifiable as it almost lasts forever
The freeflow exhaust(which must be put after the warranty period as else your car warranty will be void) can cost you anything from 6500 to 9000 depending on what u choose and where u get it done. This boosts ur performance and bhp by about 10-12% or so.
There are dealers check any auto magazine last few pages. For the k&n and get a stock replacement filter that means you can replace the filter urself and do not go in for the conical racing filters as they require some modification(and will void ur warranty), are more expensive and need an air scoop to breathe from, which means maybe ur bonnet will have to be cut to make a place for air to be sucked in. These can also lead to loss of power if the air delivery is not proper.
The stock rep. for a skoda should be approx Rs.3500-4000.
The exhausts go to Automech or KS motorsports, who might eventually take ur car to automeck. KS (karan shah) will provide you with the filters and iridium spark plugs too.
say ur car can become awesome for approx 12000/- without the exhausts and without voiding ur warranty.

Look for a good fuel station that can supply you at least 95 octane since that is that the RS requires

PJ: Yeah would get lowered and harder springs and shock absorbers and upgraded brakes of course alongside with the setup. The only downside is that its damn expensive to upgrade these euro cars heh!

revtech has rightly mentioned it. If you go through the manual the setting in kms would have been mentioned ( it's there in the Swift manual).

Also I was suggested to maintain different RPM's to make the vehilce conditioned at different levels

mrhap you can find 93 octane fuel at most of the fuel pumps in delhi, gurgaon you wouldnt find it yet. 95 would be available at very select few places, try the ones next to ashoka hotel in chanakyapuri.
