TATA motors Hybrid car

Hello guys,

From my sources I have come to known that TATA motors is planning a hybrid car. It is expected to come around 2007.
The motor will be a brushless DC motor

Initially the testing will be done with putting that electric motor into Indica.

No pricing & segment information is available for now.

That's good news. With the prices of fuel going higher and higher every few months, it makes sense to invest in a Hybrid and Tata is doing the right thing by being the early birds in India. Here's some more info I found about it...

Awesome news.. Finally we get to hear about hybrids in India.. I hope that this is a diesel CRDI hybrid.. Wow, i can just imagine the technology being developed.. Kudos to TATA.. way to go..
