Fiat Linea and Punto to get improvements and upgrades

ya this is what i mentioned about 10 days ago but someone was saying that he has booked 2010 model.

May be not entirely OT but its related to Fiat A.S.S.
After I bought my car I visted twice to concorde in the past two months. Once to get mudflaps part of freebies and other recently to allign a dislodged rear bumper after an Alto rear ended my Punto.

Everytime I get two phone calls after I am done, one from local concorde Bangalore and the other from Tata motors Pune asking for feedback on repair/service experience in detail with ratings.
And the guy from Pune started off once in Hindi and 2nd time in Kannada (since I am a Bangalore customer i suppose)

is it just with me or everyone gets these calls?

My friend has bought Linea and he too gets calls, at least 1 call per 2 months from Fiat asking for feedback regarding service experience.

samson, I get such calls as well;
sometimes i get such calls even though the car is still at the service station.
Really pisses me off at times.

Good move by FIAT if they really improve the quality. I went to a nearby TATA-FIAT showroom to check GP and linea. Earlier I had an admiration towards these products. But seeing the bad fit finish, I was really disappointed. The lock of the hatch door was out of place and rust already in the engine bay for the showroom vehicle. Ofcourse the solid door, body panels were not seen in any other cars of its class

. But this cheap quality is disgusting for a customer who is ready to pay 6lacs on a hatch.
The door shut (3 step) was the nice part on this product. It really feels solid compared to a TATA vista.
Want to see the socalled 2010 Lineas and GPs fit and finish.
Friends please put some good resolution photos of a 2010 GP's inside parts.

I used to get calls from Concorde and some Tata call center when i used to own a Indica Turbo after each service. ONce i even complained that the AC knob is quite tight and is hard to operate after the 2nd service. They immediately got me connected with a Concorde Service advisor and he came to my home and fixed the issue. That was some customer service!

Pics of 2010 Linea, excuse the less than stellar quality taken from 2.0 megapixel mobile cam. Its a 1.4 FIRE emotion (not emotion pack) petrol, so alloys are standard.

The interior plastics are much improved and at last feel better, you have to see it in real life to judge it. Pics do not do justice.

The paint finish is also better, so does the reduced NVH (claimed).

Music system is blaupunkt, but this one does not have blue and me. Do not get carried away by that front door panel gap because the door was not shut properly be me.

Finally it was up to the SCOOP Master SID to take the pics.Did you manage to flick any pics of the Height Adjustment Lever? Heard there is some marked improvement in those.
