Yesterday went to the fiat show room, still they dont have any idea about the punto upgrades but they said a new linea might be coming with different interiors and the price will more than 10 lakhs on road.

I think people with go for other cars in that segment instead of buying LINEA.
This 10 Lakh model can be either T-Jet or 1.9 MJD.
Lets see.

If you talk about CROWD, it was never interested in Fiat and will never be. Fiat is meant for souls which think beyond A.S.S, FE, Resale value, Ownership cost etc. which makes very less sense or no sense for crowd.

Crowd is already drifting to ANHC in hordes! If the Linea is priced more than 10 Lakhs, see the few who consider it as an option now, also disappear.

The 10 lakh or more Linea would be the T-Jet it is not for the crowd anyway.
Regular models are available for more or less the previous price so chill.

ANHC will be no where close to the t-jet Linea in terms of acceleration. Just see the torque graphs to get an idea. No car within 15 L will come close to Linea t-jet in performance (probably the cruze will come close).

If ANHC was priced so high just for performance, in spite of lack of features and skinny tyres, the Linea t-jet should be at least priced same as ANHC. ANHC will have brand in its advantange, Linea t-jet will have the soul, features and performance in its advantage. So, should be priced same.

latest news I read on Delhi auto expo thread is that 90 bhp Punto with lot of extra features. Lets wait and watch for the deatils.

The T-Jet is very much there in flesh at the Expo. And that too in a smashing new purple colour (thats what I'm told).

Fiat has displayed a 90 bhp, diesel Punto Sport, with a full Glass sunroof, 17 inch graphite black wheels, black leather perforated seats with red stiching. It's also got blacked out headlamps. Drool material.

i already booked a punto but has not taken the delivery yet..asked the showroom guys to postpone it hearing about the face lift...! but no news about the modifications except the price hike!
