The 90 bhp VGT engine was much needed for the Punto. They should work on the noise insulation and the Plastics.

Guess this has wider tyres as well, 16 inchers with 205 sections.

Although the 75 Bhp Punto was great but this version has made sure that Indian masses have no reason to complain about FIAT .
This is a great car .

Is it the plastics quality or fitting quality?

We see many people complaining about plastics quality in Punto & Linea.

Is it really the plastics quality? IMHO, It is the fitting quality of plastic parts that has a problem.

The plastics used in Punto are tough, pitch black and it is not flimsy at all. But I have seen parts falling apart, like the bonnet open lever in my case. Personally, I like a black dashboard than a beige one.

Adding onto this, there are absolutely no rattles in my Punto, and I guess this is the case with every Punto.

What say folks?

the VGT is good, but real hot hatch would be the Turbojet. Hope they bring the GP Turbojet soon!

I agree. Plastic's quality is quite tough. However, I don't like the surface feel of the plastic.

And absolutely no rattles. I am quite happy about this aspect.

Oops what I meant was putting them together rather than the quality in itself.

In my Punto, the support for the parcel tray has broken. This has definitely got something do with the quality.
Edit: the part i am referring to is the one marked in the pic (pic from GTO's review thread).

All this talk has me wondering if the T-jet Punto be better than the TSI Polo when ever it arrives?
