Prediction for 2010

Thot of adding another point to this thread- how about predictions for hits of 2010?
My guess
Toyota Fortuner will surely again be leading the way with demand spill over from 2009
For the new launches
Expect the POLO to be a big hit and so will the BEAT from Chevrolet
What say folks?? Add your thoughts

Beat ??? Big questions...Looking at the cramped space and those clautrobhobic interiors its doubtful.

Polo---Maybe. If the pricing and the engines specs are right.
Else it will go the Fabia way.

Fortuner-Most definitely a hit.
I reckon if the Ford Figo is priced well, it may be a hit.

Linea T-Jet has the potential for a successful blend!!

Looks like you got a point there- Figo should emerge as a winner from Ford- not because its from Ford, but basically they have had enough cars in the segment to learn from(hopefully). Beat i guess may not be high on sales- as you mentioned the factors that may work against it..also that GM anyways is not a big hit on any of its cars so far...
Yes if Linea comes out with the more powerful engine- it should set FIAT on course for a big success
If Hyundai come out with a better verna, one which takes care of the problems with drive and handling and keep the rest of the +s in place...that could be a big big hit as we are a little starved for a sedan that can fulfill the demands of a wider audience..
