Sawaal 6 lakh ka

With so much roar in the B+ segment of late, I found we have been ignoring our dull C segment. So I am posting this poll for any prespective C segment car buyers. This poll is for cars that are between 5 - 6 lakhs and come with a boot (Swift Zxi and Getz not included here). Between the cars mention in the poll, which car you think would be a best buy, in terms of overall factors, like drive, comfort, performance, FE, resale, spares etc. Lets see who wins... Petrol heads, dont get carried away solely by 0-100 performance, please consider interiors, external looks and total ownership experience etc. and weigh all factors equally.

Maruti Baleno Lxi
Maruti Esteem Vxi
Fiat Petra
Ford Ikon Flair Anniversary Edition
Opel Corsa 1.4
Hyundai Accent GLE

Let the poll begin!!!

i don't believe that you can get drive, comfort, performance, FE, resale, spares in a single product. It's upto the individual to prioitrize what features he must have and what he can sacrifice depending on what his wants are. Personally, if i was looking for a car from among the above today, I would buy the Fiat Petra. According to me the only area where the car fails is in re-sale but then the Baleno doesn't do any better either. (for a maruti) Thats my thought but what really has me sold on Fiat products are their build quality. Something, I never thought about before I bought the Palio. It's like watching a big 51" plasma TV and having to go back to a 14" one. I am too used to the solid THUNK of the Palio's doors to accept the tiny clang that a Maruti door gives. thats just me though.....

The one Maruti you cant accuse of having tiny clang on the door is the Baleno.
Its a pretty solid door
and ever tried lifting the Bonnet. The damn thing is like the heaviest bonnet i have picked up in an indian car!!
You have to drop it only and inch off the bottom, else there will be an almighty clang!

Hey Guys its Baleno all the way for me and the price at which I bought it (5.57 on road LXI), I don't think any other similarly well built car can match it.
