Hi all!

I had gone to a Toyota Bodyshop in Delhi to get the Gold emblems removed from my Fortuner and have them replaced with the original chrome ones when i chanced upon two Off White Pearl Metallic Fortuners there.

I have some pics for you..This is a Team Bhp scoop..no one else has seen these cars yet! :D

I took the snaps with my Super White Fortuner standing next to them so the difference in color may be more visible.

Now thts some colour name....

I always thought Off white was same as Pearl White and that Pearl White was a metallic shade so why such a name. They could have just called it Pearl White. :uncontrol

Looks Wierd. Id Have a White one anyday.

This is a no special color. Looks like white has gone dirty. lol:

are the pics of toyota bodyshop in moti nagar ????

This colour is not new for toyota. This colour is present in the Toyota Corolla (both the 10th and 9th generation Corolla's had it). It is quite a popular colour for the Corolla.

Saw a FORTUNER in Church yesterday night. It was massive and imposing. This is one vehicle I could drool over:thumbs up, it ticks all the boxes for me. Though it is shorter than the SCORPIO, it has a high waistline, and that makes it look menancing. Awesome vehicle

And Manujj, what a lucky bloke, PAJERO, FORTUNER, RANGE ROVER the entire gamut of 4x4 Badshahs in one garage, your garage!clap:

Pearl White has been a Toyota staple for many years across all models. However, in India, it has been only offered in the Corolla and the LC200. Actually, it looks better than regular white on Toyota SUV's. In the series 100 LC's, it even commanded a slight premium over regular white.

Though color is a matter of personal choice, I still prefer good old white over any other new variant. Yet, cannot help thinking that as the car gets older, maybe after 4-5 years the Pearl White may have slight edge!!

We have a Altis in this color, its just about tolerable on that but with a massive car like Fortuner it would look hideous.
But how can Toyota launch a new color when they are already sold out and stopped taking bookings? All existing bookings already have set colors.
