The part b/w 2:10-2:12 where the whole video goes mute to show the silence of electric vehicles. Brilliant stuff.

Indeed Mg India has come up with an interesting ad it has got some 19k views with 132 likes and 5 dislikes it sums up why we need to enlighten masses about the same sex relationships.

These days car adds tend to be short movie clips, on Television and ultimately the end up on YouTube. And this thread is testimony to some excellent automotive video clips.

But of course, it was not that long ago, we did not have internet. Car adds were poster on bill boards and endless adds in magazines, news papers and such.

Even in those days car manufacturers were pretty good at getting the value of their models across to you. (and putting their competitors down!)

I own a Red Hot Alfa Romeo Spider, identical to this one! I bought it when it was only 11 years old in 1997. The add I spotted shortly afterwards on Ebay. This add ran in various American magazines, not necessarily just car magazines. My Spider was produced for the USA market and I imported it from the USA into the Netherlands

Yaris is not setting the sales chart on fire and is considered one of the flop cars in our market. However, I still like the following video (not exactly an ad) more than any official TVC from Toyota. A long video but clearly lays out all important features of the car.

I would say this is a very accurate BMW advertisement. The indicators do not come on even once. I am sure the driver does not know they exist. It cannot drive in the lane, and constantly drifts from lane to lane. Even when lanes are replaced with cones, it still goes out, and even when there is no road, it just goes off the road. So cannot follow lanes, cannot even follow the road, has no indicators... Finally, and accurate advertisement from BMW!
