guys this vehicle with same clothes is also present in tata motors pune plant going through exclusive testing. its the crossover that will be launched soon.
but sorry guys cannot click the images in the plant.highly risky.
it has a very much similar looks and seating arrangement same as in the innova. but the headlights look very nice and big. also it is very well integrated with the bumpers which have a shape according to the European pedestrians safety norms.

not at all a safari replacement. dont even think that tata will ever phase out the GRAND TATA SAFARI. the sales figure of tata safari is very high in European Markets. Tata generates huge revenue through tata safari exports,
Also after 2.2 vtt launch safari has gained sales in india.
Also response to stock clearance of TCIC in 6.49 lacs ex showroom was a gr8 success.
The crossover is to penetrate into the INNOVA market. Will have a very gud quality ..fingers crossed..as expert R&D has been deployed because it has to be launched globally.
The vehicle spied in Swedan is indeed a tata product. Pick up the March issue of Car India to see the spy pics of not only the SUV / MUV but also of a new Tata Sedan. We caught the cars right here in India. The Sedan seemed around 10-20% bigger than the Indigo. Seems that Tata is making a City/SX4 class vehicle.
Plus, read who is testing the MR Wagon in India and why!!
While following the new suv/muv, it was hard for me to keep up. I was on my Karizma. The vehicle had dual exhausts.
In all there were 5 of them (the SUV and the new sedan)

^ uploading is ok. I loaded VLC, but the vid is playing fast (app twice the speed). What to do?
Reduce the playing speed, can you share the uploaded link pls.

Bunny, why don't you create a YouTube account and upload the video to YouTube. And give us the YouTube URL.
YouTube will neatly compress it for the viewers' benefit.

i have seen them to.. i spotted 2 new Indigos and 1 New Safari/xover..
when those people saw that i am taking photos, they started following my car.. even one driver noted down my Vehicle no. we had a real
'Chor-Police' race on highway.
the SUV/MUV seems really fast and easy to drive car.
Donno about v6, but clearly had twin exhausts. I m havin trouble uploadin the vids. I have transferred the vids from my mobile to the pc but loadin VLC player to see which of the many vids i had are the tata ones.
I shall upload the vids as soon as possible and post the links here.
tushky : that is why i went on my karizma. even these guys ran towards me (see the mag for pics, took them while they stopped for food.) I m used to these guys, had caught the HH ambition being tested ages back amongst many other vehicles
This thread is full of excitement now.
Bunny when is Car India coming out?
And do post the video as soon as possible.
i dont think we will have to wait till 2010. rigorous work is going on the cross over project.
