Sid, if you would be kind enough to explain what are the pics that you have taken - it would prevent further guesses and off-topic posts.

The latest pic posted by Sid seems photographed out of the brochure.

If Tata is planning to price this INR 11-15 Lakh, do they want it to be placed above the Innova?

Yes, loads of features, but competing against a tested product?

What is the big deal in the vanes of the turbo charger. Would have been better if you did not post anything at all. Seems you got soemthing you can't show and now are trying to appease every one with this common mate you can do better than tha.

the last teaser by sid is an impossible one, I think he will need to descipher it more for us if we are to figure out any more than what we already know. It does look like a crosssectional view of a turbocharger in action but what?

I appreciate SidIndica's efforts (and limitations). But after seeing the picture I have decided to wait for the launch (Translation: Could not make anything out from the picture).

Cheers Sid!

i would request the moderators to allow people post scoop pictures anonymously, after being allowed to do so by them.

i can very well sense sid's concern here.

we should have this mechanism so that geniune scoops can be published and the identity of the person can be kept secret.

The protocol can be:

if someone wants to submit scoop pics only in an anonymous way, he/she should first submit them to mods.

if mods are ok with the quality of pics, he should be allowed to post them without his name appearing in the left column adjacent to the post.

Yes,it's a good idea but still I feel when some company strongly insist that Photo should not be posted then it might draw legal suit to Team BHP if posted anonymously in this way.

So it's better not post confidential things given to you.other than scoops which you see or hear.

Appreciate the effort taken by Sid.

I don't see any legal issue with anything posted as scoop from the open environment i.e our roads but if sid pack is for his and his companies eyes then there could be trouble but if the pack containes generic pics from the photoshoot where these were taken then the company can't prove who got it and how.

If Sid has published the Turbo from the pack he claims is from the people concerend he has already done what you stated legally speaking.

Frankly if the company wants they can even persue the stuff already done. i think Tushky has done a better job he has pics of the final spec with mirrors and all and I am sure he will catch the whole car with interiors etc sooner than most common T

Technically speaking a post from a private compound also infringes 'big daddy's rules'. Almost always scanned docs are on the wrong side. The simple camera phone is easy to use and legal (in public roads alone!).

I have personally seen the rage of company officials when somebody betrays them (and this happens often). I assure you its not that fun ad screws up many things!

It boils down to Sid's judgement. The good thing is that the launch is just around the corner.

I guess we are all getting overexcited here. We owe a big Thank You to all the guys who've given us so much insight into this product despite their limitations.

Have been chatting with a friend of mine from tata motors for the past few months.
Talk to him about the Vista or Manza and he is like yah.. good cars
But mention the crossover and his eyes light up and he says thats the one to watch out for.

From a strategy point of view though a 11 lakh + price on the Indicruz makes luttle sense.
Tatas product portfolio is getting pummelled by the Scorpio in the SUVs and the Innova in the MPVs.
Why would Tata not concentrate on these existing lucrative market segments & try to go ahead and create a new one ?
