4) The design looks like its taken from Toyota Innova, I mean copied from Innova, a sad part.
5) As usual the pricing will hit many mainly Tavera. I am afraid Tavera will lose a lot of market. GM will have to act fast to prevent this.
You can make out all this from those pics???

Since you mention "I hope the tyres last longer" can you tell me how long it should last, and how long the current Safari tyres last?

Other than that, its just another MPV clone line a whole bunch of those around the world. Nothing ground-breaking in the design department and those Indica lights suck. The sooner they lose the Indica smiley design, the more likely they are to taste success in the market. There comes a time when every company must break away from its past image, that time has long passed for Tata Motors.

Definitely a MUV only, but did anyone also notice 2 exhausts at the back, one on each side, I wonder why ??

Probably an Desi-AMG version in the works? ( I am kidding)

Well but these days its common with Hyundai to give more than one exhaust .. we see it with Sonata and Tuscon

This one certainly looks the Innova with another T brand (Tata instead of Toyota) with Tata quality plastics but must admit looks better than Xylo anyday.

This copied looks of Innova Shows the Benchmark set by Innova in the Segment.

Conclusion after seeing the Pics of this and Xylo :- No one can touch Toyota!

Because of the twin engines. If one engine breaks down, you can just start the other engine and drive away.

I saw the other day, a test vehicle near Chandini Chowk all dressed up in black. That looked like a SUV/MPV - must have been this vehicle.

Certainly true, Else they would not be testing it at the Arctic Circle, you need to have a 4x4.

Wonderful, looks a part Innova, maybe better, nice 16 inchers from the Safari, Build quality seems to have been given a serious thought.

Certainly not a Safari replacement, notches ahead of Tavera or Rhino(incomparable), it'll bite into the Innova market and sure the Xylo is dead.

Mr TATA nice job, If we can see the de-masked car, it'll be better.

Is this the new Safari or the new Innova! Confused!

Have seen a similar spy pic and report in some other car forum.

But, if this is indeed the *new* Safari, I am not for this. Better buy a Innova!

My take on the interior
1) I think it will have a 2 DIN music system along with some MID ( I hope)
2) The AC vents or the place where the vents should be seem to be similar to the Vista
3) The dashboard is gray but the door panel is in beige so I guess there will be various trim levels
4) There seem to be provision already for passenger airbags.

However since it is only a prototype I think we just forgive the quality of the dashboard and expect a better finish on the real car.
5) The door panel seems to be different from the current safari.

This might be premium cross over, as the third row seats are lacking, or would they have removed that during testing ?

Looks good, except for the identity crisis.

If its a MPV, then Grande ka kya hoga kalia ? Phir se taxi segment mein becho! Ya phir Xover ko city mein aur Grande ko rural India mein becho! Bahut Maja aayega!

can any of the photoshop gurus here on Tbhp demask the pics?
It would be interesting to see how the real vehicle would look like.

The side-profile with the roof sloping down at the rear three quarters, the rear hatch and the wheels - all definitely point towards it being an MPV. So this could be the Xover. Guess what the competition is already feeling the heat

A "push the knob down" kind of door locking system does not looks good :(
It looks more like Innova.
