Xover price should be 17 lacs OTR bangalore then.
I must add if it touches this price then Xover = Over
it will be a real achievement if tata brings on all this below the price of an innova.

The orange indicator strip on the headlight is a giveaway, should be the indicurz.

Privin -Thanks for sharing. What speed were you in? The Indicruz appears to be pretty fast!

When Ravi Kant announced that the Indicruz will be aiming for the CRV many of us smiled, myself included. The Fortuner and the Endeavour do not belong to the same league anymore.

Too soon to speak but things are getting very interesting.

Well,
Tata's are always known for pricing their vehicle very competitively, So i think the price will be within 10-12lacs

the problem with tata is that each of these gimmicks may be failing every 3 months. So 7 computers, ESP etc gives the shudders.

I think 170ps is overkill for this vehicle, but more power is always welcome with us BHPians .

Hope the EPS offers some feel and feedback, I find current Safari's steering much better than the one on Scorpio. LED will be the first ones to be offered in a UV at this price range. I think projector lamps and washers will be available only on the top end variant.

Hope they sort out the quality issues this time or these 7 onboard computers may make owner's life hell.

Why is everyone be skeptical about TATA cars with computers? I mean how unreliable can they possibly be. Doesn't the likes of the safari and the manza already have computers?

In January'10 when the Indicruz will be launched it will also be the second anniversary of this thread, which was started discussing spy pictures of the Indicruz undergoing winter testing in Sweden.
Hoping the two years of rigorous testing will finally pay of.

Except that Forturner 3.0 has virtually no turbo lag. When you try to push 170ps from 2.2 liters you will have turbo lag even with variable geometry turbo. As posted elsewhere in this thread, there is no replacement for displacement (CC).

170 hp is ESTIMATE according to what I got as an update.I really hope that this figure is not true. 155 would be more realistic. But based on a video posted on another thread, 160-odd may seems true. The car was simply running away like a dragster.
