At first glance even i thought its tata logo. but i did see toyota logo.
but will go with all!

Althoug camouflaged, the build looked just great.
It looked bulky , very stable and had amazing pickup.
The way the car zoomed ahead, i thought its from really higly end category. so if its from tata, then thats just fantastic progress after manza. can anyone post the expected pricing details?

surely it will be cheaper

Yes, there is another video somewhere where the Indicruz exhibits simply shattering performance. I guess we can conclude one thing: It has a real rocketship under its hood.

EDIT: As suggested by the OP, mods can change the title or merge this with the Indicruz thread

Have a look at the 3rd pic. It's MH12 TR. Guess it was a convoy. Both 12 and 14 are Pune numbers.

Oh this is surely indicruz, been a regular to sidindica's thread, so i can recognize it even while sleeping.
Indicruz is one of the most exciting vehicles to be launched soon. And i really hope it challanges the current MPV champ innova, which xylo was supposed to do but couldn't.

Have been following this thread for 3 months ,even before i became a TBHPian and still, rather than new photos ,the ol' ones are recirculated and posted.atleast the interiors!!!
Man am i jumping up and down for the auto expo, maybe in auto expo 2012 we may see a 10 lac tata sedan and five years down the line a proper RWD,full size car to crack the us market(just like the genesis)

Spotted this Tata Van testing on the road leading to Pune just after the Expressway ends. Looks kind of different. But it's more of an MUV than a SUV. The driver wasn't really pushing it. It had twin exhausts. Looks big. ORVMs had indicators. Shape was like an Innova but this was definitely wider.

Shorter and wider

One thing is certain. The Indicruze is definitely shorter and wider than the Tavera, Sumo and Safari. Clipped from the video posted above. So we can take it for a fact that handling will be much better and body roll lesser.

The image quality is not great because it is cropped and resized, but hope to get the point across.

- Large van in the league of Innova (could be slightly larger as well)
- 16-18' wheels and tires to match
- projector lamps
- Discs all around, with hopefully ABS available across the range
- V6? Petrol or Diesel?
- Airbags, Climate control almost a certainity (considering Manza has it from launch)
- likely to have good handling considering heavy european testing
- space/ride is a given in a tata product

With all this, I would hazard a guess that this will be priced atleast 10-15% over the Safari. Sales will depend on how they market it and if it has 4x4 to target the I wanna move up from Safari, but cant afford a Fortuner crowd

Anything less than 10 big ones for the top end variant and they have a sure fire hit on their hands
That's what I call wishful thinking. Airbags, Climate Control, Disc brakes, ABS, EBD, Alloys, Projector Lamps, 4WD under 10L?

Come on, the one vehicle that might come close to all the above mentioned (no projector lamps and discs all round?) is the Fortuner and you know what it sells at. The Tata officials have confirmed that they are targeting the Honda CRV category. Definitely 13-14L at least for the top end.

well, i think this is going to be the nano of luxury SUV/MUV market.

so its fair to assume that i will start at around 14 lacs.

expecting it to start it at 10 lacs is not justifiable.
