here's another one...congratulations, speedfreak....that's quite a mammoth you've got, and trust me....it's a great car....and i speak from my experience on the 2.0 IDI....the DICOR should be quite a nutbuster...and personally, i do find a lot of improvements in the new DICOR over the 2.0 IDI (except for the dead pedal)....

just watch out while you're reversing though- since you haven't taken the vxi (with the rear view cam), it's quite a possibility that you might accidentally run over some swifts and other small cars while reversing....

and once again, here's wishing you loads of happy (off)roading....enjoy your beast, pal....

Quick question. Dont you SUV drivers (inside City limits) feel that sometimes you had bought a small car, seeing all those traffic and parking problems?
Actually, I am in that dilemma. After being owner of many cars, I am tempted to buy an ute. But the traffic (Banglore) problems is making me think more than twice.

I have driven SuVs rarely, but when i have i have found that in heavy traffic it is easier to drive. The reason is then when i am in a sedan all the autos, cars, ricks come and try to bang into you, but in a SUV everybody runs scared. Also on a highway if you flash your sedan lights at the 800 doing 60kmph in the fast lane, the guy will ignore you, try flashing SuV lights and the guy will go off road to give you way. Everybody's afraid of big things. The easiest to drive is a truck with everybody scurrying for cover
