Yes. I'm definite about the power steering. Not sure about the aircon. Should be available. The base is priced at 3.34L if I recollect correctly.

Hey Guys these are introductory prices. GM is bound to increase them later, at least that's what Overdrive's live update said. We still need to confirm the period for which these special prices are on.

Whatever the price may be, its shocking. Hyundai I 10 has finally got a true competitor.
Its all on GM's marketing, PR and service skills to grow.
The spark has shown the way, its time for the beat to continue.

It seems to be GM has got the right spot in pricing and I think they might sell around 5000-6000 unit per month. The base variant and mid variant might get some Santro customers for sure than I-10 is what i feel because Kappa is what sells more in i-10 .

That is too optimistic. Even spark that is priced lower sells < 5k. I think if Beat manages around 3K it should be a good figure for GM

I have one more question which is not answered in GTOs test drive thread. Does the petrol engine have
  1. 3 pods or 4 pods ?
  2. 8V or 16v?
  3. DOHC or SOHC?

The 1.1 may lose out as there is a more powerful 1.2 base version option for customers..as it is hyundai is not very aggressive on its 1.1 going by what i experienced when looking at buying the i-10
Overall- its a good positioning for GM but does not look like a sure winner as far as my assesment goes
Just saw a car on Indiranagar 80 Feet Road- surely it was a non registered one, wonder where was it going to...
For Bangalore folks- try to talk to TRIDENT on HRBR Layout outer ring road- they are also now GM Dealers and have better service i feel...

I do not think this is a competitor to I-10 at all, probably its going to give a better choice to people opting for A-Star, santro and even Wagon R, however i-10 will take something really superb in most aspects to shake its dream run on the sales charts as most of i-10 sales is the 1.2 kappa
