First pics and info: Chevrolet electric spark

source: GM India autoshow website.

Front end looks like a fishmouth frog with that ugly grill. Why?

The car looks great but for the grill. But there are electric cars that look downright ugly. This one is lot better.

Any info on release date, range, top speed, etc.?

Why do people want to put the same grill on every car they make? First Mahindra, now Chevy. I like the clear headlamps and the tail-lamps though.

This is again a premature launch. India is not used to EVs. Will it be battling the Civic?

It looks very weird from the front! Why couldn't they change the headlamps if they could change the grill!! The black boot does not look good either.
I guess a 5-6L price range could bring GM good sales.

Great looking car. The cool looks got even cooler (and sophisticated). We have a blazing red Spark LS. I had gripes about it not having a proper grill. But this grill with the family-look goes pretty alright with the whole front end re-design IMO. It is very good.

The car looks classy. Both the front and rear treatment are too good to be true.

looks like a modded car. The REVA itself is selling at around 3L if i am not wrong. So this should be around say 5 to 6L which I dont think is good pricing for indian market.

BTW, what happend to indica electric car.
SID any scoops / updates ?

The tail lamps and fog lights are too good. Changing the front grille has made the spark loose its "Smiley" face upfront.

But for an EV, its a really good looking car!! Hope the pricing is right to help boost the sales!!

The grill looks out of place! Else it is pretty much the same.

Except the grille, I quite like it. But more importantly, we need specs like range, charging time and price.

This car looks beautiful. I hope it is launched as is and not a snipped snapped version.

Seeing Cruze, Beat and now Spark. I guess Chevy is trying to bring that front grill as brand mark. Not so good on this car, though the rest of the car looks cool. Hope Indian Govt. give some handsome perks/incentives to promote eco friendly cars like these, which would only bribng down the cost and make them hot cakes in market.
