my guess is, as VW has very small dealer and service network, they can't take a chance by pricing the polo in swift price territory.

if they do, then they will have loads of booking and sales, with choked service network! sounds like FIAT? am sure they don't want to do that. also their other group company skoda is also not very well know for its service else they could have counted those sevice stations also!
