Indigo Manza cars in Sardinia Red and English Pewter

Are the Tata Indigo Manza cars in Sardinia Red and English Pewter on display at the show? I have not spotted them anywhere among the pics. Will somebody take pics of these cars if they are on display and post them? I'm planning on buying a Manza so your efforts will be much appreciated.

You are right, The Pacifica was concieved while Chrysler was owned by MB and was one of the first from a joint effort. Both are 6 seaters and lot of similarities between them.

The third row seats look a little cramped but otherwise this is pretty much loaded considering Indian standards.

Things which are available in the Aria which are not present in the competition (Innova/Xylo)

1. Side and Curtain airbags
2. A/C vents for the third rows
3. All wheel drive

If they could maybe add sliding doors and an automatic gearbox...

Lets not make a judgement on this report, they are in the same bandwagon as us, no offical statement on pricing by TATA. Lets hold our horses till we get the actuall official pricing.

But personally, I dont think 14 lakh is unreasonable for a fully loaded 4x4 AWD crossover SUV, even if you start comparing the features with the 4x4 Safari VX which costs 12 lakh, ARIA is way ahead.

just saw the indicruz ARIA in flesh on roads, this time without covers.

it was zooming in on a curve. wooooow!!! what a stance , what an approach. it looks huge, very huge, looks very muscular and very elegant.
felt as if i am seeing some import. the car approaches boldly with chrome over the window(similar to honda CRV) and the side profile looks very elegant.
thats enough i cant express its beauty.

Tata's have loaded the Aria absolutely upto the brim with features & it just looks wonderful.
But I cant help but think that why did Tata not launch this same vehicle with 2 body styles,
1. One which is displayed (ARIA) which could have been in the 4X2 variant to take on the likes of INNOVA
2. The other they could have launched with a SUV Body style which could have been in the 4X2 & 4X4 variant to take on the likes of fortuner & the upcoming Mahindra Global SUV.
This way they could have silenced all the critics.

I am in love with the biege/dark beige and wood finish interior. Looking at the growth of Tata motors Indica-Turbo-Vista-Manza-Aria/Prima truck one thing is sure, global biggies need to be worried. I have decided, my next car will be from Tata family.

I heard the ARIA would be avaiable in both 4x2 and 4x4. 4x4 will have a higher ground clearance

Source: Overdrive

Does this mean the SAFARI is nearing its end after the launch of the ARIA. Is this also the reason why TATA have not released any new SAFARI models and have been only concentrating on the development of the ARIA

No, if you read their Press Release, they are talking about a Refreshed Safari 2010 meeting Euro IV norms. They are also marketing Safari as a thoroughbred SUV whereas the ARIA as a Crossover.

Looking at the new pictures above and the speedo, it seems ARIA top speed will be at 120-130 as it max's out at 140.
