Tata Motors launched the Aria at the Auto Expo 2010 New Delhi today. Here are some of the important features:

• 140 BHP diesel engine
• All Wheel Drive
• ABS
• 6 Airbags
• Traction Control
• Both the second and third row seats fold fully flat
• Aircon for all three rows including the C pillar

This car is HUGE. On first impression, it feels longer than an Innova

This baby is huge ! The last row seems to be a tight fit. Looks pretty good I must admit. Somehow there seems to be an overdose of chrome on the front grille. ope to see some pricing information soon.

17 Inch wheels , So now people who were complaining about big wheel archs seeing the spy shot should be happy.

2.2 VTT at 140 bhp looks like they have not pushed the engine beyond what it does in Safari.

6 Airbags , Traction Control and AWD ? Fortuner seems to be the target and not Innova I think. A more aggressive or SUV like face could have helped.

Fantastic work. Also nice move to lock a few threads about the cars now being launched.

When will this car hit the street ? Price ? Engine specs ? 140 bhp ? The middle row space seems to be a bit tight as compared to Innova. Also this looks a bit narrow, but that IMO is due to the design of grille.

It should not cost more than Rs. 8-9 lakh OTR. Also they must change from Delphi to Bosch for CRDi.

Except for the rear, the car looks fantastic! I think a spoiler at the back would enhance the look.

Coming to features - 6 Airbags, ABS, Traction Control, All Wheel Drive. Just one word. Wow! Bring it on, Tata.

regarding the style, i like he exterior. but interiors sucks..
its better to have no foldable trays instead of this cheap ones..

Thanks Dippy, except for hte rear the entire car looks promising. Again seems like Tata's are improving with every wheel on road. Though dash looks boxy, should have more space to storage. AC vents on the C-pillar are cool, though leg rooms in the last row seems ok. Those opening for the middle row, are they storage?
