Dash and the steering looks very similar from its sister company - Land Rovers - for which they have all the right in the world to use.

Solid interiors, quality also looks good

oops - just noticed observed and mentioned by others above already

I think TATA will place this vehicle between Iinnova and Forturner, probably they will place the lower end version of the ARIA below the Innova V and the upper variant will be lower than Fortuner, so that both the Toyota brothers will feel the heat.

It looks like Tata will position ARIA above Safari in the price range of 12-15 Lacs.

this must be the first India Made car with traction control.

Any idea on the launch date?

Dippy really appreciate the hardwork you have put in, Thank u.

Dont want to overboard with praise but the leap Tata has made is pretty evident.

Would like to see the side profile. Like everyone says, 17" is the way to go. While I wait for more details to come .. have found one thing missing : arm rests for front row.

Looks neat and big. Lets see the pricing. The front bumper design could have been better.

Really a very nice package put together by TATA . Both Interior and the Exterior are quite improved compared to the other TATA models . Congrats to TATA .

I liked the interiors. Exteriors I am not happy with, lot of chrome treatment in the front. Rear is simple. SUV like front face might have helped here. Overall package looks best if the price remain below 12L mark.

  • humongous vehicle with AWD has great road presence
  • Interiors OK. But what matters is quality
  • Has big LCD display
  • Third row for children only
  • Oodles of storage space
  • Very good looking colors
  • Rear parking sensors,Traction Control,Wipers look great
  • Price should be 8.5 to12 ex-showroom
The way both the Indian manufactures TATA & M&M tried to take on Innova and where they have landed!
M&M with XYLO
TATA with Indicruz oops ARIA
kudos TATA

Hi Dippy,

Congrats for posting great pictures of Tata ARIA and Toyota Etio cars unveiled in Auto Expo 2010. The Toyota car seems poor interior. Tata Aria let us see the total pictures you are waiting to post soon and comment.

Fantastic work. Also nice move to lock a few threads about the cars now being launched.

When will this car hit the street ? Price ? Engine specs ? 140 bhp ? The middle row space seems to be a bit tight as compared to Innova. Also this looks a bit narrow, but that IMO is due to the design of grille.

It should not cost more than Rs. 8-9 lakh OTR. Also they must change from Delphi to Bosch for CRDi.
Pricing is the key now!
8-9 OTR with 6 airbags, all wheel drive!! i doubt.
Definately will be priced 10L + IMHO.

Looks not that great. looks like grown up Vista. For me Tata Safari still looks super cool
