Rehaan & I agree that this is one of the most impressive modification jobs we've seen in India. Did you ever imagine an Indica Vista looking so good? This "Concept S" was an absolute stunner!

Lots of small touches that impressed. Brushed metal upper lip on the radiator grill, perfectly proportioned wheel arches, sweet tail pipes, redesigned bumpers...the Concept S even has rear diffusers! Right ahead of the driver sits a revv counter. Alone.

Tata Motors at the Auto Expo 2010

Though an old concept, its a very bold design, and maybe the stepping stone for Tata into the Upper C/Lower D segment
The dedicated thread here
http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/indian...ury-sedan.html

At the expo, it got overshadowed by launches and all.

another concept was the Indica Vista Sport. It may never see the light of the day(just like older indica sports)
Not as extreme as the 300BHP racing indica of the expo 08, its actually a practical car, which has the chasis and looks to be a worthwile contender to hot hatch throne

Other than that, there was no new safari, just chrome alloys on the safari instead of the brushed metal look.
Looks like safari will continue in current avatar with the 2.2 BS IV intercooled EGR version coming in april.

The Indica Vista EV will start off its first run in Norway. Note that it is a full-electric car, and not a hybrid (petrol + electric power) like the Prius. Tata claims 160 kms on a single charge. The EV is rated at 74 BHP / 160 NM of torque (at 0 rpms ):

Tata's new people carrier looks so much better than the Maruti "Eek Oh!". The Venture will almost certainly have more room, a diesel engine (which the Maruti doesn't have) and a competitive price:

A good looking truck? You gotta be kidding me....well, apparently not! The yellow dumper was a head-turner. Where is DKGs thread on vehicles with character again?

Tata says, thanks to the driver comfort & amenities, this truck can do an average of 700 kms per day. That's double the average of 350 kms per day of regular trucks.

Know what the biggest engine option is? A 13,000 cc 565 BHP diesel.

Tata Motors never fail to amaze. I agree, that Vista looks hot. The Tata World trucks have to be seen to be believed. We had seen some during the Manza test. They have so much character and they are loaded

The Venture shows a lot of promise. Any info what diesel it may come with? It could sure share engines with the Winger.

Any news on the much awaited Vista Ignis? It was widely rumored to be one of the launches this Expo.

I have looking forward for the Prima trucks for a while now.
These are sure to change the dynamics in the commercial vehicle market in our country.
Just being curious, What does the 'L' indicate in the Prima's gear knob?

The premium sedan is called the Prima, and so is the truck range.....they run out of names or something? The Vista Sport looks super hot....guess it will be just for the exhibition though.
