The Venture takes the Turbo Diesel engine of the Tata Indica with 70 PS.

Indica electric looks promising! any idea about cost of same?

Vista sports is super Hot. but did not like the rear much. may be because i am used to rear of Vista we see daily on road.

Yellow truck too looks super HOT. Nice to see indian auto industry catching up with global biggies!

You can list Tata Motors as a whole in that thread. This is one company which has punk. And character.
In the last show it won the hearts with the cheapest car in the world.
Just 2 years later it had the audacity to launch India's most expensive (guessing) indigenous car/MUV/SUV and a 565 bhp powered hunk of a truck.

And yet it seems to straddle both extremes quite comfortably.

Got to wish Tata Motors great success. Keep moving & three cheers

Exactly what I thought too..but loving the look of the sedan. If only they actually go ahead with such a bold design instead of the tried and tested Manza/Vista look.

The Vista S looks Super! The whole grille treatment is Mazda inspired and works very well! The colour is brilliant, as are the perfectly formed wheel arches and complementing tyres.

This is a car that Tata should launch for many reasons. It would serve to boost the image of the Vista and appeal to a more younger buyer.

But most importantly, the Vista S could help get rid of the 'Indicab' tag once and for all. Look what the Fiesta S did for Ford!

This vista is a killer. Best indica i have seen so far. Very imposing, very macho. I agree with MaserQ, It should be launched at least as limited addition. It will be really menacing to see this in your rear view mirror.

The car is actually quite a crowd puller. Saw Narain Karthikeyan , hanging around next to it this morning.

Check out the rear of the car carefully; specially those dual exhausts. On close inspection, it seems they're just dummys and no exhaust gases come through them! its just for visual effect.

Ditto on the Jazz with the Mugen bodykit. it too sports Dual exhausts and one is a dummy.

Being a Vista owner, I can say with confidence that driving it around corners and twisties is not fun. Something has to be done in the cornering (handling) department along with cosmetic changes. Then, you will be looking at a very potential car.

Edit: The Venture looks good and promising. Perfect for "a little big middle class family".

Really impressive stuff. Tata is really rising.

That indica sports version is a stunner, I'd love to own one! Any interior pics?

the winger ambulance, looks like it can be a camper van! seriously, with the white and red colours gone, and a lil mods to the interiors and tata's can sell this as a camper van.

To my knowledge, the Vista suspension is tuned for comfort and hence not fun around the corners.

If it was tuned for a stiffer ride, then the handling would have been better.

Indica Vista "Concept S" looks smashing, however they could have redesigned the tail light cluster to looks sporty and gel with the design.
