My favs at the TATA Motors display. I'm impressed by the looks of the ARIA and look forward to checking it out at a dealer hopefully soon.

Tata aria looks good.

Tata aria looks good. But the third row looks cramped. Why build a MPV when the third row is cramped. That too it's a luxury one. Also, do any one have a picture of Tata indica vista ignis. Is it any different from the present version.

Tata had one of the best commercial vehicle stalls I had seen and I wish to see these trucks on the road very soon.

Tata Indica Vista looks suberb. Tata is much serious in India to compete. If these Indica are available it would boost up the sales.

Well, except for the headlight i dont see anything similar. Its well known the headlight looks like the peugeot.
If then lots of cars across different price points have copied or "inspired" from others.
Long live Tata

I thought I was the only holding tata torch, yeah the whole point is that Tata is known for lifting designs and examples are by dozens( by the way I am ok with that) for example. Not worth starting another debate here..

As per two of TM dealers in Bangalore, ARIA is expected anytime around the June/July 2010 timeframe.

Why did people not ask this question all these years about the Omni ? It has been selling for decades now. Is it because that is from Maruti and this is from Tata ?

Note: This reply is NOT pointing to anybody in particular. I am just thinking loud.

Hey Tatas update your website soon

Hey guys just check the Tata motors website, you'll find the Ace 1 Tonner whose face is shared by the Venture van. I was wondeing why Tatas want to project a goods carrier image to an upcoming van which holds good promise.

FT Comments on Starbus

Quote:
On the day the Delhi Auto Expo threw its gates open to the public this month, a bus load of motor show enthusiasts had the ride of their lives.

In the buzzing Tata Motors pavilion, they sat comfortably in conversation, legs outstretched on the seats of a spacious yellow Tata Starbus. Their children playfully hopped on and off, as fascinated by the bus as by the racier Jaguar and Land Rover models nearby.

Even at a standstill, the Starbus gave a glimpse of urban commuter transport almost unseen on India’s congested roads. It was a far cry from the sardine-packed lumbering coaches that ply Delhi’s streets among armadas of motorcycles and small cars, engines roaring, axles wobbling, filled with cramped, exhausted-looking passengers on Rs15 ($0.33, €0.23, £0.19) inner city journeys.
Probably reporter never travelled in DTC Marcopolo buses...

Well, I read somewhere TATA executives saying it will be in the fourth quarter of this financial year. TATA should speed up new products.

Is the "Magic Iris" based on the Ace?. This was the only eyesore in an otherwise brilliant TATA Motors display.
