53bhp bike? Mahindra?

Not sure what is the reason for the bunny tooth. Is it something to do with the M logo? Doesn't matter.

With next round of cosmetic changes I am sure the chrome bunny tooth would go missing.

Is the Thar result of this:-

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/4x4-ve...mm540-4wd.html ?

If anybody is passing NH 17 in Kerala, between Thalassery and Vatakara, please park your vehicle for some time near a bus stop and take pics of some ordinary (not fast / limited stop buses). There are plenty of buses which have put the scorpio grill to good (at least, better ) use than the plain stupid one on that bus.

In which, please allow me to congratulate M&M on (1) employing somebody sensible to listen to the users (2) listening to that guy (3) actually coming out with a product based on user feedback / demand.

Most of the "customer feedback" I have noticed, only goes into "correcting" customer perceptions on a product / image / company. Like for example, when people say that product X is unreliable, the company comes out with an ad campaign, saying that the product is reliable, rather than fix the issues.

Thank you, M&M.

i hope this link has not been shared-
Mahindra @ AutoExpo 2010

it covers everything from the gio to the scorpio to the new maxximo.

the maxximo IMO is a good looking pick up without the awkward face of the xylo & gio.

here is the website link-
Mahindra Maxximo | Powered by 1st 2 cylinder C2 CRDe engine

interesting features i noticed-
1) 2 cylinder CRDe engine
2) nice dashboard
3) drive by wire accelerator!!!
4) DOHC tech
5) independent front suspension with Mcpherson struts, no outdated leaf springs!
6) dead pedal, even my scorpio doesnt have one!
7) car like handbrake
8) stylish instrument console
9) its crash tested too! video in website.

price not revealed but i expect it to be in the range of 3-3.5 lakhs, as its quite hi-tech compared to its competitors..

I have one question : What the heck is a Scorpio Coffee Table book? And why / who would want to read it?

I mean, the Scorpio isn't exactly an F40 or RR Phantom!

+1 to that GTO. This is what happens when you try to copy an international player only in terms of strategy rather than fine tuning their products.

The differences between the regular VLX and the Special Edition are:
  • Chromed alloy wheels instead of matt alloys (same size and type)
  • Pearl white paint (a la Corolla)
  • Roof-mounted DVD player
  • Shiny wood finish central console instead of matt wood finish
  • Leather seats in beige
Here are a few more shots of the LHD Scorpio Pik-up cutaway and the mHawk engine cutaway on display there.
