Suzuki Dzire Estate. Shall we invent it?

Friends,

Can anybody do a Photshop job of converting a Suzuki Dzire into a estate version, something like Indigo Marina.

Let us see how it looks and how it will be different from 2011 Swift Hatchback. Also the ugly rear end of Dzire can be smoothened out.

I think in this version, Maruti can increase the wheel base and try to add more rear leg room. This will address the comfort aspect lacking in Swift/Dzire.

Also try to give a name for it. Shall we call:
Dzire Plus
Dzire Estate
Dzire Marina
Swift Plus
Swift Marina
Or any other name

Mods: Hope this thread can be put in "Indian Car Scene". Else, pl. put in some other area or merge with relevant existing thread.

The Dzire itself is a design disaster.
Adding stuff to an existing car design and making new designs / models does not work.

You want to take it to the next level of uglyness by adding more to the Dzire ?

Well, Indian market has never liked estate variants. None of estate variants like Indigo Marina, Octavia Combi, Corsa Swing, Baleno Altura have seen much interest in Indian market.

If you really want some response, please post it in http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/shifti...rt-thread.html

Even the BMW Mini Clubman looks bad after extension. The swift (since thats what the Dezire is) would also look bad. The front of the car does not match the rear stretched any way. Still, it would be good to see what comes out of this exercise.

Some cars like Indigo , erstwhile Sienna look better (IMHO) in their estate versions . So looks wise it shouldnt be bad but the sales could be a disaster . The Altura was a disaster and Maruti wouldnt bother with the Dezire .

As the cars such as Palio Adventure, Octavia Combi, Indigo Marina, Corsa Swing, Baleno Altura are not much successful in India, there is no point of launching Dzire Estate.
