Thanks TSK!

Was waiting for pictures of the interiors of the DC Innova and Ying Yang, as i had heard a lot about them.

In the Innova, are those tables easily reachable when sitting in the seats - eg. for using your laptop? Do they extend out further than shown?

After seeing the DC Mods done on the Innova , i personally called them and asked them for a quotation for the same thing to be done to my Innova. The whole thing is actually called the DC Lounge. Here are the details of the same ,

Interior

· 24” Captain seats, with powered calf support, reclining to 150o
· Ingress / egress enablers for easy slide in and slide out
· Air craft style roof centre module provides ambient and reading lights
· Privacy partition with integrated audio / video
· Fold out tables with sliding top and glass holders
· Glass holder in partition
· Cup holders seat side
· Mobile holder seat side
· Laptop connectivity
· Door panels with proprietary switch panel
· Quarter panels

ELECTRONICS

· 20 inch LCD TV
· DVD player, speakers
· Intercom

ELECTRICALS

· 7 ltr Chiller
· Intercom
· Charging points
· LED Lighting
· Reading Lights
· Proprietary Membrane Panel
· Inverter

OPTIONAL

· Exterior Kit : New, highly sculpted front bumper in body colour and integrated
side foot steps, rocker panel in standard neutral grey
· Front Camera
· Reverse Camera
· PDC
· Satellite Television
· Leather Upgrade
· Vanity Mirror X 2
· iPod- Ready DVD Player
· USB DVD Player
· Headphone Jacks X 2
· Approved Sun Control Film – Lounge Glass Area
· V-Cool Film – All Glass Area

the whole package excluding the Optional stuff is going to cost 4.95 L . It takes 20 days for the mods to be done and they must first receive 80 % of the money as advance and the rest on completion of the mod works.

I think I read about this in TOI last month. What was interesting in that ad was they had compared the interiors of this model to RR Phantom's!

With DC, the worksmanship, the quality & finish have been good. But the other main point is where I dont agree with DC - Practicality vs Individuality. Guess, he had to choose one and he has placed his bets on Individuality. Wonder how would it be if he were to have another line of business where he manufacturers more practical stuff, with the same fit, finish & quality ..

It's hard to believe the Ying-Yang is based on the winger - this looks so much longer.

The 4.95L price tag looks quite good for someone who's willing to spend that much. The seats in the Innova - are those called He-Man seats, any chance ? Look so top heavy .. and does anyone else feel the front of the Innova is in the process of morphing into a Merc ?

DC's 's Imperator concept seems like it's based on this Lexus concept! When I saw the Imperator, this was the first thing that popped into my head!

At the DC stall he has compared the interiors with a business jet.

PS: According to ndtv the imperator has been designed on a Audi R8.

Yes indeed! It is based on the Audi R8 but the design looks like it's been lifted off this Lexus concept. At least from some angles!

DC peaked with the Sierra Nirvana way back in 93-94 and it has been downhill ever since. There has to be a restraining order against the man for mutilating vehicles for no good reason. He is OK was a coach builder for converting Tempo Travelers and such. How can he not see the mutilation of the exteriors as anything other than that. For a guy who supposedly is a designer.

Look the window line sheet metal changes for the Innova below. A pound of my flesh to anyone who successfully justifies the design aesthetics or rational behind this absurdity.

Somebody stop him please before he makes Indian car tuning industry a global laughing stock.

Checkout some of the automobile blogs for comments to DC's excrement inducing work.
