Tata Motors To Expand JLR Network

Good News For all Perspective JLR buyers.

Quote:
Tata Motors is on its way to set up three new dealerships of its iconic brands, Jaguar and Land Rover in Delhi, Hyderabad and Ludhiana. This will mark their first phase of expansion of their JLR network in India.
Currently JLR vehicles are sold in India only through its Mumbai dealership. AMP Motors will now represent JLR in New Delhi while Inline 4 Motors has been appointed as the franchise partner in Hyderabad. Dada Motors, an existing Tata Motors dealer has been appointed as the Jaguar and Land Rover dealer in Ludhiana.
These dealers are in the process of setting up their sales and after sales service infrastructure and are expected to be fully operational by the second quarter of 2010.
The company also plans to further expand their presence into other metro cities by 2010.
Tata Motors in India currently sells the Jaguar XF, Jaguar XFR & XKR to which the new Jaguar flagship XJ will soon be added as well as Land Rover’s new 2010 model year range – the Free Lander 2, Discovery 4, Range Rover Sport and the flagship Range Rover.

I am sure there is a very big market in Hyderabad and Delhi for the Jaguars in particular.

So I hear. Their target is 10 dealerships in the near future.

Also, a BHPian is opening one of the North India dealerships. I'll leave it to him to spill the beans.
