Dear All,

as this is first time i will be buying a car in part cash part loan so wanted to have some feedback asap.

booked a flam red Linea from Pandit Auto and paid him 3.11L on 07 Jan.
the 5L loan is from SBI which is approved but ON HOLD BY ME and still not issued to Pandit.

Received a Call from Pandit on sat 16 JAN saying the car is booked from factory and they are waiting for my payment to get the car released from Fiat Tata. so if loan is released by SBI they will give delivery of car in 4 working days.
IS THIS RIGHT??

1) i have told him not to do registeration until i check (info from Team-Bhp PDI).
2) getting floor mats & mud flaps free
3) have asked for 2010 model so as per the forum i have found that APZ in the VIN number would mean like January model. RIGHT??

can you pls assist on payment whether to release??

I think there is nothing wrong in releasing the payment. Get PDI done before they take the car for registration. I did a full payment for GP on 25th Dec. and will be going tomorrow for PDI so that they can proceed with registration and then delivery.

By the way Congrats, Linea is a gr8 choice!!

Agreed. I think you can go ahead and release the payment. Delivery is much faster now for the Linea. A friend of mine got his in 3 days.

have asked bank to do the transaction.
either this weekend or next week will be getting this beauty.
Infact its more my wife's love at first sight seeing the Linea.
