Being a tall boy design, is NHC handling suited for VTec style ripping? NHC owners, any comments?

When we had left our vehicle to get an estimate from Sundaram Honda, the chief mechanic was suggesting to sell the car and go for a new one.

Though we don't have any such idea, I told him that we were not happy with the performance and handling of NHC ( I have never driven a NHC, thanks to the forum).

He told me that in 3 out of 10 cars, they had replaced the steering box assembly ( also he added another problem which Iam not able to recollect) within the warranty period. Added that with these problems fixed, NNHC with VTech engine is going to get released soon.

He was in full praise of HONDA CIVIC, which is going to get released early next year and the price tag would be between 8-10 Lakhs with all the features ( as per his statement)

The face lifted model should be out around diwali time - if you can wait for a couple of months more , wait n take the newer model. you get the option of the VTEC engine as well.

try and chat up to your friendly neighbourhood honda dealer about what kind of changes are taking place - maybe u mite get some info. but on the flip side , if u wait and then when the new car is launched - and suppose u dont like the looks , then what ?

just kidding - if u ask me - i would wait for the newer model. its your call now.

i like the shape of the NEW NHC a lot more than the current NHC! especially the doing away of the Front Bumper Nose! that seemed so ODD! now the car looks more graceful, with a regualr styled bumper! and the rear tail lights do look great!

good job, Honda!
