Yippee !! Discovery Turbo is now available in BSNL - MyWay STB

I get this channel from my cable operator himself.
I dont have a DTH / Dish.
Not sure whether the operator consciously provides this channel or just tuned at random.

Turbo is the only reason (besides Discovery Science) that I opted for a DTH last month. Turbo is an amazing channel; but I hope they could do away with the biker build-off type redneck shows. A nasty pain in the posterior.

Airtel customer care (ACC) says, "Sir, this channel does not exist in your channel list" Huh!!!
Me: "I know darling thats why I am asking you"
ACC: "Sir, may I put you on hold"
Me: "Do I have a choice?"
ACC: "I need to talk to my senior"
Me: "Ok, I will wait"
Irritating hold music (why in this world was this music so lazy, makes the wait seems like an era has passed, repetitive and pathetic)
ACC: "Sorry for the long hold, my senior says there is no channel like this"
Me: (in irritated tone) "turbo.discovery.com can you please check this for me?"
ACC: "Sorry sir, we can not access the website"
Me: (now feeling low) "Sigh, how can I exit my plan for IPTV and get my refund"
ACC: "Sir, please hold, I will ask the senior to check" Puts me on hold. Comes back in 2 mins and apologize.
Me: "Yes dear, tell me if you have any good news"
ACC: "Sir, we will talk to discovery and soon this channel will be in your list".
Me: "By soon you mean, no gurantee, right?"
ACC: "Sir, we have no idea, but we have taken the request, anything else"
Me: "Yes, please make it fast, and put it on TimeShift we are missing a lot"

Boo boo boo, IPTV customers pay a lot and get nothing.

I do not know about Airtel DTH, but Discovery Turbo magically appeared on my Airtel IPTV day before yesterday along with Discovery Science. It's channel #605 I suppose. And since yesterday, I also noticed a ticker on the bottom of the screen announcing the same.

I have a cable tv. Today around half an hour before I was browsing through the channels in the tv. To my surprise I found Discovery Science on one channel. I was thrilled to see that and did a full auto scan of the channels again. And Yey!.. I found Discovery Turbo.

Finally Discovery Turbo has arrived in cable network in Hyderabad.

Exactly, the biker build off show has started to get on my nerves now. The promos are aired every half hour or so.

Guess what! My local cablewallah in Hyderabad is showing Discovery Turbo!

This weekend I saw the AA torque show, and one show which was about buying cheap used cars and giving them a makeover, for all under 5000 pounds max or something (forgot the name of the show)

Overall - looks like Good TV is finally here!

Was browsing my TV after a long time last week. Suddenyla message popped up on screen (from the Cable/STB provider).
It said "Dear Customer. 4 new channels have been added to the list of channels subscribed by you 706-Discovery Science, 707-Discovery Turbo, ******".

Wrecks to Riches. Even I personally like that show.

On a different note, I seem to have lost interest in Turbo. An important reason could be the dated shows they air. At times you are left searching for relevance.

Is it Hathway STB or something else. For me the discovery comes in 500 series hence asking.

Wheeler-Dealer I suppose!

I am losing the interest in this channel myself. The reason is the repetitive nature of any program you pick. But sometimes the work they show is amazing.
