Yeah i saw that too. Amazing white LR with those 38 " wheels. He should have done some more off-road rather than just splashing water. Anywayz it looked good and the narration was very well suited to LR.
Tom Ford has the same driving skills as Clarkson, so expecting him to do anything with a car is asking for trouble.

Last night @ 12 there they were showing "MOST EXPENSIVE RIDES"; Boy what a program. They started off with Buggati then a yatch "LADY LINDA" priced at some $ 25 Millions then ended the show with Rolls.

Discovery turbo does air some great programs.

Here is an excerpt of the news article announcing this channel in India:
The Hindu : Arts / Radio & TV : Discovery launches two new channels in India

“Right now, the channels are available on Tata Sky and in the next 2-3 months, it should be available with other DTH operators and cable companies as well,” Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific Senior Vice President and General Manager (India) Rahul Johri said.

So all other DTH's it looks have to wait a few months.!

Discovery Turbo is without doubt an excellent channel. I love all their shows. However i feel that 5th Gear is a let down. I had heard so much about it and that people would always compare it to Top Gear. So after watching a few episodes, i am sorry to say that its not what i thought it would be. I feel its a fairly poor attempt to imitate Top Gear. I mean, i love the sarcasm of Jeremy Clarkson. That is missing in Tiff Needell. Moreover Top Gear Challenges are legend and something which 5th Gear does not have. But since i have no choice, 5th gear will do for now!

This channel is really a treat.
It is available with Tata Sky and comes as a package with some other channels which doesn't interest me. If they had an option to select this channel alone, that would have been great.

Having a 24 hour Auto channel is just what the Doctor had prescribed

I believe the fifth gear episodes that they are airing are very old ones but then again who's complaining :-)

Jeremy Clarkson is a journalist and Tiff Needel is a professional race driver. So I feel the style of presentation is greatly varied.

I enjoy their style of reporting thoroughly.
