Hi,

Sorry to bring you Skoda RS fans down to such mundane things such as FE. I looked through many postings and have not been able to find real-life city/highway FE of the Skoda RS or the Rider 1.8TPi. Seen what the automags claim, but a lot of you have said that it is unreal - so any real figures you can share?

my RS does better than my wife's Sail!

I guess most indian cars can claim that ;-)..

Indiacar claimed max of 21kmpl for the RS which is amazing! but many here said that indiacar's claims are realistically too high. But whtever FE it does return, its definitely not low for a car like the RS.

Its around 9kmpl-10kmpl in city and around 14-15 on the highway.Inputs from a friend,who purchased one a couple of months back.
But,he does not rip the car often.Nevertheless,its excellent mileage for a car of its class.

9-10kmpl for my RS. 6.5-7 for the sail

My friend gets 6 but this is bombays traffic with AC on always.

According to ACI, its 8kmpl if u're hard on the gas, and always keepin the revs high

I'm getting the same figures as navin from my RS in the city and on the highway around 14-16.

On the other hand my Palio 1.6 gives me figues like 5-6.
