I am planning to buy fusion..
called up cauvery ford (bangalore), prices are

6.75 for basic
7.28 for fusion+ with ABS

did anyone buy a fusion in blr recently?
can I negotiate on these prices?

also can I ask for better speakers (maybe an amp & subwoofer) at same price?

Hi,

latest offer from dealer is 7.2L with ABS and

total maintenance plan upto 30000 kms
extended warranty for 1 year
mp3 player
teflon coating
sun film

is it a good deal?

how useful is total maintenace plan?
I an considerinc getz also as an option.. I might get a discount of 30K on getz so it will 5.7 for top end (with ABS) wat u guys think?

Precisely one of the key reasons for me to pick up the EXI version mid last year after shortlisting couple of "driver's cars". Of course, driving it always puts a big smile across my face .

Point to consider - the car is out of production. However, the 1.3 version is still in production and shares most of its spares with the 1.6 version. With the amount of indigenisation, the cost of spares is not a worrying factor.

Handling is just AWESOME! The EXI version makes sense as the alloys/tyre combo and the music system, can be of the owner's choice.

The Fusion is indeed much better in terms of interiors. The Ikon is dated in that part. The Fusion engine must also be much more refined.

This is not to suggest anything, but among the vehicles shortlisted, the Ikon is probably the best handler, while Fusion might be the most practical one.

Somehow I always felt that at 6L+ the Getz is a hugely overpriced deal. At the end of the day it is a hatchback. Ok, so you are getting 30k discount. Stilllll...

And Fusion? Why Fusion of all things man? :-/ My personal philo in life is to never buy a mass market car that others very rarely buy. Even if that car has 100s of advantage (Fusion may not exactly tally up here either) it has the potential to evaporate whenever the manufacturer decides to pull the plug. And then the owner will be caught between the devil and the deep sea. Selling will be a hugely loss making proposition and if you retain it parts availability will be damned difficult as the counted few numbers on the road will never make it worthwhile for the parts' manufacturers to keep the lines running.

Look at something else man.
