All those goodies would have resulted in my car touching the 6.3 mark. :(

But all getting nullify if u are travelling all around Delhi, u know distance will kill the benefit of having the car at lesser price.

Aha .. now I am somewhat less jealous of you
But then aren't petrol prices the lowest among the metros, in Delhi ?
Speed is Rs. 48.45 in Kolkata.

Ya u r right to some extant but suppose I have to visit my brother place from Gurgaon to Noida means 100 KM now u can imagine the utilization of fuel.

And yes I do not want to get into what fuel I should use in my BIII Baleno but I am using normal (what u people call O87 or some thing like that?) petrol and getting almost 15 KM/L . Surprised?? Should be.

Neat ! What's your driving style like ?

(sorry , I guess we are way off topic here. But then we should be back on track shortly, once MUL releases pics of their 'new' Baleno !)

A post in Indiacar messageboard mentions 185/65 R14 Goodyear tubeless on the VXi ..

What would be the differential price of replacing the 165/80 R13 on the LXi with the VXi tyre config ? Assuming average 5 nos 14" aura alloy prices.

Yes 185 on 14inchers are confrimed! Just spoke to Maruti! Also Climate control and MP3 player with clear lights in the tail! Price hike of 12k in mumbai too! But no ABS nor Airbags! Sad! When will Maruti learn! They say its only for highspeed!

So now that has me wondering .. the price differential between the LXi and the VXi is around 83K.

How much would it take to put 185/65 R14 on the LXi ?

Approximately 20K or 25K ?
Plus 12 K for the system ?
Climate control ... how much ?

Anything else on the VXi that matters ?

I paid about 26K for upgrading to 14 in League alloys (excellant designs...see http://www.league.com.tw ) and 185/65 R 14 Goodyear Eagle NCT 5 tyres...this is in exchange of the stock tyres (can you believe.. I got paid only Rs 100/rim :( ..)
