i have seen a couple of them here in the chennai roads and they looked good.

Is there any way they can be ordered from MUL?
last i heard, they were hardly selling and dealers should offer excellent discounts. on the other hand, wonder how many dealers have ready stock in hand.

but, you may be disappointed with the bottom scraping every speed breaker in town, especially after getting used to the ford fusion.

but it does look good with the roof rails.

As for the looks I think the pretty good looking for a station wagon.... station wagons are ugly imo and this one is the better looking out of the lot......if u compare it to the other wagons that we have had like the baleno altura, fiat siena wagon, etc this one is wayyy better looking the only other one that comes close to a good looking wagon is the Forester... I am the little market that the Chevy forester created for itself will be taken over by the combi.
Precisly, the idea is to grab the Very high end users/buyers initially with this ridiculous price of 14+ lacs, and later will come up with stripped down versions at 11/12lacs. anyway India is not a big market for station wagons so they will hardly sell 1200/1500 cars a year of these. Station wagons abroad though are always priced higher than saloons
Skoda's are very strong Built, BUT are very expensive when maintainance is Reqd.

according to me the Skoda Combi is a suck. it won't sell here in our country and it really looks stupid. they should have brought the Skoda Fabia instead or the New Skoda Octavia. but this one is not a good step by Skoda.

maybe it won't sell. in fact i feel so too.

but i don't believe it will suck. and most people, myself included, find its understated but solid styling very appealing.

Baleno Altura is a better looker than the sedan IMO, but it sold hardly in few numbers.

I somehow like the octavia combi.

Audi has a similar model here in canada and it looks good too.

It may not find buyers as the estate market is not exactly happening.

I think the launch of the combi means skoda wont be launching the new octavia for sometime now.

Firstly, the Combi is not a hatchback! its a stationwagon or an estate. Anyone got a full list of the specs of the combi? The european combi (even the old generation models) came with 4*4 as an option. The new one comes with 4*4 as standard and DSG as optional.
