KILLER pricing. VW wants volumes and the pricing only reflects that. In a segment dominated by the Japs, Koreans and Indians (in that order), pricing is key. In a way, I'm glad that the B+ segment is so competitive. The Chevy Beat was well-priced from the start, so is the Polo and as will be the Figo.

All the better for us customers, wot?
GTO, any expected date for the t-bhp review on the polo?

there is a 1 lac difference between petrol and diesel variants at similar trims. is it worth? MJD is already demanding this. will 1.2 TDI be as good as MJD?

Maybe Punto's MY CAR feature will be more extensive then Polo's too?

Spec Sheet is on their website! Check out:

Guys,

Does it make sense to announce prices just 2 days before Budget? Is there a chance of hike in excise duty and blah blah ?? If something that sort happens the prices are bound to increase right?

The diesel prices are spot on! Beats the i20 (on pricing at least) if the feature list is just as rich. But how about the petrol one? The onroad for a Magna 1.2 is 5.4lacs while the Asta (2airbags) is 6.36lacs in Pune.

Overdrive's initial feeback:

Good quality. Nice looks. Great price to start with. Rear legroom and headroom a problem. Shoulder room ok.
