Trust me you won't feel it. It's perfect configuration for both city and highway driving.
BTW I own this beauty in auto variant.

Wasn't the car launched only couple of days back? And you already have it?

Anyways congrats and do let us know how does the car feel.

Btw just saw the Ad on CNN-IBN and I think it is really an irresponsible ad.

Nice. I'm sure the auto 'boxes on chevy's will be good. After all their primary market runs only on auto 'boxes

Thats a nice car specially after 150 Bhp engine has got 6 speed auto, this is going to be killer for Laura/Sonata/Corolla/Civic or even dent the sales of Accord/Superb.

Cruze is a supercar which looks like a normal saloon. It beats the competition out of sight. I am very happy with the car which i have been using for past 3 months. It has a very powerful diesel engine. Rocket in true sense!

What is the + and - in the above pic? Does it work as gear up and down like the Fiat dualogic gearbox?

Yes thats the tiptronic part. So while Cruising, you want to downshift, shift the stick to that part and move it backward for downshift.

Neat report, Ajmat. Thanks for sharing it with us.

The Cruze AT makes a compelling case for itself, thanks to the 6 speed gearbox + that punchy engine. I don't expect it to match the DSG on sheer finesse, but then, GM makes robust slush boxes. Skoda / VW DSGs have suspect reliability. I am personally happy to witness an increase in the launch of ATs. Just what the Doc ordered for our driving conditions.

A gross overlook on GM's part with the street racing ad concept, as well as the cheap powerpoint presentation.

Look up TSK1979's review of the Cruze. They are hard and entirely lacking in the premium feel.

Interesting. Is it the same as the paddle shifters in the Civic and City? I mean, are the technologies the same? And does it achieve the same thing as achieved by the paddles?

Yep the technologies are basically the same but paddles are far easier to use. Nothing comes close to a dual clutch box however

Actually the ppt was slick but the add on script on the price etc was scrappy. They could have given the inputs to the PR company making the slides

I noticed the rubber mats in central console was ill fitting
