All the numbers provided are for January. Only Tata Nano can beat or meet Alto.

Anyone has BMW sales for Feb 2010? Would love to see a good comparison with Mercedes-Benz including a break up of all models?

Regards,

The 1000 odd selling numbers of punto should call for FIAT into action. With ford figo coming into the scene, the turbo petrol and VGT diesel should atleast be a USP.

For the Eeco to have sold 2904 cars in January (the first month of its existence) is a commendable achievement. Given its VFM label, I can only envisage its sales steadily rising to eventually be among the top 3 or top 5 selling cars in the country, unless of course, another manufacturer can offer a competing model with a competing VFM features at a competing price.

Domestic Car Sales Analysis (Feb 2010)

Pardon the opening title. Considering that only the excel sheet has been enclosed, the thread opening title does not do justice. However, this is only the first post.

I wanted to understand this better:

Like in many previous months, not a single unit of the Skoda Fabia was produced this February though domestic sales of the car stood at 673 units. from here Base effect, duty fears lift Motown - dnaindia.com

Does this mean that Fabia overproduced and inventory is currently stacked at factory, dealers and warehouses?

Prospective customers would then be getting a 2009 model.

If this is true, then positive effect would be that Skoda offering huge discounts. I think Laura 1.8 TSI too had similar state, with Skoda offering discounts upto 1 Lakh.
