I dont mind the looks, it looks kind of quirky and different. Somewhat Porsche-like but not fully there either. Either ways, if it has a good engine and decent driveability it will be a good buy.

It does look better in shades other than lemon or orange!

Believe you me on this, I see the same Micra's we are talking about everyday and it looks totally ugly from ever angle.

It is a total feminine car and mostly it is driven by ladies here.

If the specs etc are good is fine, but I simply cannot digest a car which looks like its meant for a girl, only for a girl.

Its like buying a pink colour swift and driving around in it. NEVER!

It looks like you are really insecure about gender- that is why you go screaming about it... You might be in Leicester now where the Micra hasn't even been sent to Europe yet- how could you see it everyday? For that matter it hasn't gone outside the vicinity of Chennai for testing (except in China and Thailand where it already released)- so the conclusion is that you havnt seen the New micra yet so I suggest you look up at the previous posts to see its current unisex design...

Aditya, I think he was referring to the older Micra. It is a good car though. Once it is out, people will know.

and the Punto's interiors are of good quality, only the fit and finish is poor. There are large gaps between panels and they dont blend well.

The production has already started and six cars were exported to Spain yesterday as demo cars before their launch in Europe, so the European launch is also due soon.

Rofl @ unisex design

This is the micra which you get here, which looks almost the same as the new one which you are on about. A little change here and there wont change its overall look.

Screaming yes, people will be too when they see it in real.

Hahaha, good one, enjoyed it. That's mainly due to the fact that their are cars chasing it.

The one available in Europe right now, is actually, quite feminine. I agree that the new version too is, but less so. To be honest, once I saw that we lap up Santro's and i10's, I know for sure that styling is not a be-all-and-end-all for car buyers in India. So if Nissan can get service, quality, FE and pricing right, it has a chance of being a success.

I just hope that people buy the darker colours (like black).

The only problem is when those other cars catch up and try to get on top!

But I really do feel that the most far-out Micra design was the 2nd-generation, which, femine or not, had a real kid's-story-book look to it.

I wonder how I shall feel about this car when I actually see it? Might it be love at first sight?

Hope we will get the CVT some day. We can dream at least
