I was given a price of 778000 on road Mumbai registration for the basic model and Rs. 814230 for the select edition. I told them prices are still very high. The sales person asked how much I want to pay - I clearly told him 725000/- on road for the select edition. He said will check with his seniors and get back. YOu never know but I think you can bargain with prices with Honda Jazz. Lets see if he calls back then I may consider.

Wow! For a Honda salesman to say that much, shows that they are learning the lessons taught by the market.

If you are working in a corporate company, you can claim the Corporate offer of Rs 13K. Do bargain more. Honda executive in my city is ready to deliver 7.35 L on the road with basic accessories.(including Corporate +additional discount).

yes he did say that. Also I told him I can get Polo the highest model for something less than 7 Lacs with all the accessories and extras, why should I pay 1 Lac extra for Honda. He said Honda has more space - stupid explanation. And my reply if I wanted more space I can buy Manza, Ford or SX4 - why Jazz - he had no answer.

New Delhi, July 1, 2010: Honda Siel Cars India Ltd, leading manufacturer of Premium Cars in India sold 4595 units in the month of June’10 as against 4067 units sold in May’10 recording a growth of 13%.

The company had sold 5048 units in the corresponding month last year.

Model wise break-up: Jazz: 507; City: 3544; Civic: 339; Accord: 157; CRV: 48

Looking at the number of Jazz in Ahmedabad, I would asy 20% of those are sold here.
