Here's the latest on Fiat from CNBC. Fiat Auto is likely to shutdown Indian subsidiary. An announcement is likely to be made in the next week. More details are awaited...

Damn that's bad news but the most logical decision for FIAT after signing MOU with TATA otherwise they will be threading each others feet. They most probably will sell the plants to TATA.

i think if it happens so then it will be like a Fiat-Tata JV where tata will produce fiat cars.

in short it will not be a wholly owned subsidairy of Fiat,italy.
