+1. This price difference will deter the general public in going for the i10 diesel. What Hyundai will do IMHO (if they decide to launch at all) is strip the car of all essentials (read that as ABS, airbags, rear defroster, wiper, fog lamps, audio) and launch at a lower price point.

Heavy price tag for a Diesel! dont think it will create any competition for Swift! And that too with the Figo / Polo launch around the corner, Hyundai is designing a recipe for disaster!

They give all wheel disk brake for I20 mid and high end variant in Uk, but we get only front wheel disk brakes.
IMHO i20 is selling because of Jazz high price in simple terms,if Jazz was price say even at starting price of 5.5 then i20 would have faced a though competition
