Even if you are not a sales person, I will surely recommend to VW recruit you to do a good sales job. Your words created a clean picture of how one would like to enjoy Polo. Hope you get a Polo and enjoy the experience according to your wishes. All the best

I agree. The only other option is that he's owned a VW before and loved it.

Any truth in the rumour that Maruti is dropping prices of the twins - Swift and Ritz?
And the New WagonR seems to be placed below 3L for starters as well?

i would vote for the polo. if you wanna buy the base variant go for polo. if you want features and gizmos.. go for the fabia top end variant! you would still get 50k discount!

Do not think Maruti would even consider doing such a thing as they are already market leaders. Any such move will come only when thier market share starts falling because of these cars.

On mileage front looks like Polo is going to demolish Figo. Khan75's initial ownership indicates a mileage of 14/17 for Polo. Looks extremely difficult for Figo to match this.

Boss, guess you are taking this thread very personally, all your replies are filled with lots of emotions in it.
Dont think it is necessary to take every comment with a pinch of salt. Somehow looking at all your replies in this thread have a strong feeling you either work for VW or are closely associated with it. Is that true ??

xingamazon. It may look personal to you. But I am quoting facts. Please look at ARAI figures for both cars. Now this is proved right in ownership threads. Also since I have polo in my handle it doesn not I mean work for VW. I had indicated in another thread where I work.
Well I have booked a Polo. Defending or boosting your car with facts is not illegal as far as i know.It is rather strange that every one looks like a VW sales guy to you.

I agree with Poloman's objective statements. He's probably excited because he's booked the superior car. I know I am!

It seems there is something to be said about the quote, "It takes two to tango".

That apart, the Polo is a very good car, the Figo is too and it's a lakh cheaper.

I just thought you are a fan of the other Polo, the mint with the hole!

Jokes apart, i am very tempted to go TD a Polo and lay to rest my misconceptions about a 3 pot engine.

But still, another concern is V-Dub's service center network. What hope does a Polo owner have if he/she needs repairs in some small town?

Will update you guys on further course of action what the dealership is doing.

p.s : it is the figo for me. Black.

@ ac 427 - Any update on this?

Polo and Figo are grabbing the limelite. Any goofup is big bad publicity. Joethomas's Figo is with the dealer to check the warning lamp flashing incident. Seems he's been updated directly from Ford-Chennai. Would like to know how VW handles this polo (Lemon?).

Although this is a one of incident I can't help but laugh at the Polo=Quality+Reliability posts

car vibrated violently on speeds aboove 80 kmph.
