Doesn't the Etios grille look like Logan?

Toyota car-expo@Palace Grounds Bangalore on 20/21 March

Heard on FM 94.3 yesterday that Toyota is setting up a expo in palace grounds on 20th and 21st of March. The ad said we can have a look at Etios, Prius-Hybrid cars along with their other offerings in this expo.
BHPians, if you have additional info about this show, please add. It would help others who may be planning to buy a Toyota@Bangalore if there are any on-spot booking discounts made available as part of this expo.

If time permits I will try to visit to see the dull 'ETIOS' concept. I think they are trying to get some valuable feedback from their 'future' customers. May be to do some last minute changes!!

The etios hatch does look promising, but the sedan seems highly confused. But totally dislike the grills on both.

Doesnt qualify to call it a "concept", the styling looks more like a rounded Logan. But will sell in decent #'s if priced properly.

Make no mistake - Toyota's on a massive promo campaign. I know one of the people who's touring on these events and trust me - this is a big campaign to spread awareness about the Etios.

I think TOYOTA is doing some damage control to build the brand after all the flak they got for the accelerators getting stuck up

Guys heres the link for the Toyota Etios campaign - The ETIOS is on it way...

I think its a Toyota Etios prelaunch campaign in which Etios will be unveiled in multiple cities. By the way, did they unveil in Chennai, it says 3rd - 4th March in that link

I don't think that might be the case.

The issues/ problems and flak that Toyota received has noticably happened only Jan-Feb onwards.
If i were to do events like they are planning to do in 10 cities (AFAIK), then it wouldn't be possible to organize all of that in just a months time.

I had been to this event yesterday evening. There was extremely load live music. The Etios sedan and hatch were parked on a platform and barricaded. We were not allowed near them. Their entire range was displayed. There was Prius and Camry Hybrid also. We were there inside for about 10 min max. The sound from the music concert was very very very very load. Wife was really pissed off. So we left.
I managed to get a sneak inside Prado, Land cruiser and Fortuner though!

I had been to the Toyota car-expo on Saturday. It is basically a pre-launch campaign for Etios hatch and sedan. Toyota was distributing brochures for Etios concept.

My idea of going was to have a good look at Fortuner without the sales guys bothering me much. And it was helpful. Wife and I compared Innova and Fortuner from our need point of view and realized that Fortuner is really not worth double the money for same interiors albeit with powerful engine and 4WD.

We had a good look at Prado and LC as well.

For me, Toyota expo helped in decision making.
