Yes it has to be K-series with the new emission norms from April 2010.

Has current WagonR production stopped or in slowdown mode?

Liked rear wiper, I guess it's first time for WagonR. NOPE it isn't, corrected by 'technocrat' below.
Didn't like chrome finish above rear number plate. Why does MSIL needs to repeat what they have for SX4/DZire?

Thats an awesome Scoop! I do like the all new platform and not a facelift. I do love the side profile with its sharp corners and the interiors are mugh better in terms of quality (just by looking at it). The gearstick looks tall and I'm speculating that it will get the 1.0L K-series 3-pot from the A-Star. Cant wait for it!

The side profile is all new. Reason? Look closely, the rear opera window/quarter glass is missing in this model.

The scoopmaster at work again.
The vehicle looks good or should I say refreshing compared to the existing version. Looks like we will now get factory fitted music system in VXi trim like some other models.
Also Its nice to see that the ABS option would be available in VXi trim.
Are there too many switches on the right side? I hope they have maintained the various cubby holes that the current gen has. They are a lot handy in keeping small things.

Another refreshing scoop. WagonR used to be on top my purchase list until the hatch/premium hatch segment was loaded with newcomers.

Anyways, looks like MUL is waking up to the competition; good for customers. I somehow do not like the dashboard and roof-rail, it otherwise looks promising.

Great Scoop.

From the side profile it looks like there is no bootspace

Boot space was one of the advantages of WagonR.

Nice and really a good scoop Sid.
I would find that many things in the interior(steering, speed console etc) are ones from other cars,so we would expect a good VFM from this car.
I think we have rake steering. So we can expect this car in week or so and what would be the price?

Same old stuff with modified headlamp cluster, Suzuki please bring better designed vehicles , mere face lift job won't interest customers.
Wagon R is seriously old enough to be retired.

Good.
This looks certainly better than the ones posted by ashutosh.

However, did not like the interiors too much.
The dash looks pretty compact.

Liked the rear profile though with the much needed rear wiper installed.

Depends then. If you were looking for a facelift to the levels of the erstwhile Zen (which later died an insane death of course),then I know how disappointed you must be.

The way the Wagon R has been facelifted from its earlier avatar till date doesn't have much of a difference but it still sells like hot cakes for the mere VFM and Practicality if offers, and for Maruti, they dont want to land in a mess when sales drop after a bigger facelift when buyers had already accepted its looks.

We all are hoping that it comes with the KB series engine with a better gearbox.
