Thanks Sid. Other than the looks, the engine performance is almost the same as old models. Like we discussed, its 3 cylinder 12 valves engine compared to 4 cylinder 16 valves. Wow, the tyres for VXi is now 155/65 R14. The 12V sockets & tiltable steering are blessings.

Cool. Looks like a baby SUV than a boxy car as we know Wagon R of.

If the price remains the same, this will be an excellent VFM for the new looks and the stylish (relatively) interiors.

Sagar automobiles called me up today following up on my visit to their showroom couple of weeks back. He said the usual that new WagonR is coming soon and when I said "sorry, I'm not interested as I already booked another car", he seemed shocked. He said "What sir, you don't know sir, you haven't seen sir, its a full luxury car sir."
At least 2 or 3 times he said the same thing that 'Its not a small car, its a luxury car'. I seriously pray that Maruti doesn't use same killer punchline for the new WagonR. :P

Just one reason, if it is correct - Maruti wants Ritz to takeover the demand from Wagon-R.

this one is nice, the most practical and decent looking among the new borns.

that is a nice step by MS

they should also bring in a set of matching grill guards, rear bumber guards side impact guards etc..

One thing I just want to clarify - are the airbag and ABS systems fitted independent of one another? I mean - can I order a vxi with airbags only or vxi with ABS only?

Or they do 1 optional vxi version with ABS+airbags?

The Cycle in the reclined seat of the Wagon-R, Is it not a bad PS job?

Btw, the car looks like a slightly blown up Estilo. They could have got the same front as the Jap version. The refreshed interiors are a treat!

Is the DUO out

Any scope on if the New Wagon R will be released in the DUO format. If they do it should be interesting to see how the boot will look like. Already reduced , not sure if we have Ziltch for space in the duo
