Great! If you can talk your way to get it, nothing like it

I guees, dealers also seem to mention a lower corp discount to start with. So that further discounts, if pushed by the customer, can be funded through the 'buffer'.

Did you to get the 15K off on the Figo? There are no discounts available on the Figo as it's new to the market. The 15K corp discount is available on all other Ford cars. Discounts are always country specific. My company has at least 34K company owned Fords and probably another 70 or 80 owned by employees. But since Wipro and TCS pick up more cars here, they get the best corporate discounts.

No Gilead, I was planning to buy a Fiesta SXI. Even for Fiesta they did not give me the 15K discount you are talking. 8.3 lacs was the final OTR price which they offered me. This also before the budget.Fed up, I booked a Polo Highline.

poloman, maybe they withdrew even that 15K offer, but it was available as early as this Jan as well. A colleague of mine got it on an Ikon. Did you try with a different dealer? Congrats on the Polo!

I tried out all the tricks in the book to no effect . Post April the prices in Bangalore are going to shock all. Heavy discounts will be required to move the not so hot cars out of the showrooms.
