Fitting ABS

HI,

Saw an advert in the TOI today about the The New indica Vista Aura+ version sports ABS and 2 air bags in the front.

I have an Indica Vista Aura bought in Dec 09. Would it be possible to fit the ABS to it now?

Regards

Strange, TOI bangalore doesn't have this ad. If someone scan the ad and post it here, it will be very helpful.

Yes this news is true. I saw this AD in today pune edition TOI.
its good that TATA now concern about the safty feature of INDICA.
The price also a compitetive one.

In my opinion ABS & Airbag must be standard on all cars in all models. I know price may be on little higher side. But this extra money may save one's life.

Now with Aura+, Vista suddenly became a complete package with VFM. Are they providing steering controls for Audio (Blue 5 is there of course)

Cheers!

That's a great safety upgrade for VISTA by TATA.
Chennai ex-showroom prices will be now
Vista Aura QJD 4.72L
Vista Aura ABS QJD 5.09
Vista Aura+ ABS& Airbags QJD 5.40

However TATA is charging now a hefty 70K for ABS and Airbags and a blue&me upgraded audio which is 15% of Standard Vista Aura QJD prices.

It will be VFM if TATA provides Other Manza Aura + features such as Steering with integrated audio/phone control buttons, DIS,Glove box light, and improved plastics will be welcome.

Normally Vista comes with 3 spoke steering. The SRS airbag sign on the Vista ABS/AURA+ ad shows 4 spoke steering wheel. Can that be taken as VISTA ABS and AUR+ comes with Manza's 4spoke steering?

This should shut the mouths of all people who consider the Swift to be one of the safest hatches available. Egg on face for Swift owners I say?

@sushil - Thanks dude for posting the ad.
@maverick - the ad displays 4-spoke steering. it may be the standard sign for airbags though.
